Why Volunteer?
Volunteering with Community Life Ride is a great way to make an impact on our community! Our volunteers experience the opportunity to visit with one of our riders while driving them to a destination they otherwise would not be able to get to. Volunteers choose rides that they are comfortable providing and that fit their schedule. A team of staff are ready to support you with anything that you might need as your drive! This is a flexible and rewarding way to volunteer!
How Does It Work?
Volunteers provide a ride to a mature adult 60 years or older who no longer drives or drives on a limited basis. Drivers select from curb-to-curb, door-to-door or door-thru-door rides as well as different types of destinations from medical to shopping to many other locations that our rider would not be able to get to without the help of our program. Our volunteers use their own vehicles to transport the riders and can request mileage reimbursement. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our program as they are the representative of Community Life Ride to the rider.
