Community Life Bridge appreciates our supporters, partners and sponsors helping us to Be the Bridge in 2025 and beyond!
The 4th Annual Be the Bridge Luncheon and Silent Auction was an amazing celebration and success! The event, hosted at Our Lady of the Lake, St. Joseph Hall, in Hendersonville on August 21st, 2025 welcomed guests from across middle Tennessee to help us drive impact and support the freedom to thrive for older adults in our community.
Special Thanks

Barbara McGinnis has been a driving force behind Community Life Bridge’s growth—serving as Board President during our earliest milestones and laying the foundation for lasting impact. As a partner at Johnson McGinnis Elder Care Law, she blends legal expertise with compassionate care, advocating for older adults and educating our community through writing, podcasting, and personal connection.
Her leadership, heart, and dedication truly bridge the gap for all of us aging in Sumner County. Join us in celebrating Barbara McGinnis—an inspiring example of influence turned into impact!

Some volunteers show up with a smile. Seanna Parker shows up with a heart wide open, a listening ear, and a deep commitment to making every ride a moment of connection. Since Community Life Ride launched in Portland in January 2022, Seanna and her driving partner Melissa have logged over 9,700 miles and more than 360 hours of service—more than the distance from Hendersonville to Anchorage, Alaska and back!
But it’s not just the numbers that make Seanna extraordinary. It’s the way she treats every rider like family. She’s the kind of person who will sit quietly beside someone grieving, drive straight to the ER when a rider feels unwell, and circle the block until she knows they’re safe.
Her “why” is rooted in caregiving, compassion, and community. Whether she’s helping a rider visit a loved one in rehab or making sure another gets the care they need, Seanna brings love, dignity, and presence to every mile.
This year, we proudly honor Seanna as our Volunteer of the Year, and extend heartfelt thanks to Melissa, who’s often by her side, sharing the journey and the joy.
Together, they remind us that transportation is more than just a ride—it’s a lifeline.

Donations are always appreciated if you are unable to attend Be the Bridge 2025!
Making a tax-deductible gift to Community Life Bridge provides an older adult with rides and fosters relationships with caring members of our community, which improves the quality of life for everyone!
